???? This is just a reminder that by September 20, 2012, LEAs must have policies relinked or reloaded to the Legal Framework?in order to be in compliance.

You can access a Quick Reference Guide with the TASB policies that must be connected by clicking on the underlined?title below. This document includes the TASB policy code, title, and explanation of the policy/framework connection.

Work session at ESC are planned for July, August and September if you want to get it all done at once with other directors.? You can register for these sessions on-line in e-campus.? These should be posted soon.

Don?t forget the pre-work?required before the linking and uploading process, i.e.,?approved board policies.??If your LEA uses TASB online policies, know where to access them online to perform the linking. Charters?need policies?(with date approved by the Board of Trustees)?that address the required special education?issues.??The Model Charter Policies previously provided by Region 18 are no longer current and should be replaced with new policies. The Texas Association of Charter Schools may be a resource to obtain sample policies. You will need a pdf?of each individual policy?to upload to the framework. ?Click on the?Legal Framework Update to review the?handout we provided previously.
